Quality over quantity

Every piece is sewn by hand in my small home studio. I use modern tools where they help, but the work itself is slow and hands-on. I'd rather finish one piece well than rush through three, so each one gets careful stitching and finishes chosen to suit the fabric.

Motivation and inspiration

Most of what I make is shaped by travel. I plan road trips around small regional fabric stores throughout the southwest, the ones that carry patterns and prints you won't find at a chain. The colors and motifs in my work usually trace back to something I picked up on the road.
